Surprise! We're a week early this time... Sethran sold a washer and dryer in my neck of the woods, so we decided, hey - why not?!?

Here's this week's laundry list:
  • Professional Video Gaming - it's not just a dream anymore!
  • Microsoft announces their final 3rd quarter results... uh, they made money
  • The Browser Wars are back, thanks to 4 zealots known as Explorer Destroyer
  • Sony's updated the PSP firmware, yet again
  • Sony has come up with a new iPod/iTunes killer... again... for the third time
  • Dima Komissarov's USB "Flashbag"
  • We discuss our new microphones, the AudioTechnica DRXC1 and the MXL 990
  • I discuss two movies, since Sethran is too busy with his mad pimp lifestyle,
Memoirs of a Geisha, or The Hooker Falls in Love

Okay, so we are on a bi-weekly schedule. Just gives you more time to savor the juicy goodness of each episode, no?

Right, so anyway... this week we ramble on about the following:
  • Symantec vs. the IRS - guess who'll win?
  • Kopp vs. Blizzard - he doesn't have a leg to stand on legally, but that didn't stop his lawyer!
  • Windows 98... R.I.P.
  • Iceland found out that volcanoes are hot
  • A new study shows that 80% of automobile collisions are caused by stupid people
  • A Kenyan man who tried to commit suicide now faces trial for his failed attempt
Oh - and we have two movies this week:
  • Crash, excellent but NON-Family-Friendly flick
    Crash
  • Zathura, also excellent and Family-Friendly flick
    Zathura

And, we have listener email... again!

The cow says, "MOO!"

So, we seem to have fallen into a two-week release schedule. Hmm... Well, it's not intentional. Sethran and I just never managed to coordinate our schedules over the past week or two. Plus he's sometimes really lazy about driving the 40+ minutes it takes to get to MY house. And there you have it.

But more importantly, here's what's in store for this week's episode:
  • Napster has finally found a way to make money selling their crap - banner ads! (everybody hold their breath)
  • Jerry Taylor, Manager for the city of Tuttle, OK, is a complete moron
  • Apple has released its beta of Boot Camp, allowing you to safely and easily dual-boot your Intel Mac
  • Parallels' Workstation 2.1 Beta allows you to install any X86 OS to be installed on an Intel Mac
  • Sony is discontinuing UMD movies for the PSP, Jimmy crack corn
  • India has developed a male contraceptive that kills sperm AND inflates the scrotum - so... sign me up!
  • The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe is now available on DVD
    Chronicles of Narnia
Nothing worse than a needle in the nuts!
